Summer Jam at Settlement!

The Settlement School in South Philadelphia is hosting the South Philly Acoustic Jam for the summer! We meet on Thursday evenings from 5.30 pm to 8 pm in Field Hall on the first floor. We supply extensive songbooks of classic rock, blues, soul, folk music, and microphones for vocalists, and chairs and stands.

There is free and available parking on the building grounds.

We are not an Open Mic Group: The Jam is not an open mic performance - everyone plays and anyone can sing. There is no judgment, all skill levels are welcome, we're here just for the fun of playing with others.

We have an acoustic sound and welcome acoustic 6 or 12 string guitar, uke, electric bass, harmonica, percussion instruments, electric bass, keyboards, and fiddle are all welcome. Is your voice your instrument? Come and sing. Play, play and sing, or sing. You are welcome here.
